Twelve Hours of Prayer

We will be embarking on a time of prayer, lasting from 7am to 7pm, here at The Well.

We long to grow and develop and to be open for 6 days every week. To do this, we need to expand our Team as well as our financial base. Let’s gather as we always do, to ask for God’s help, guidance and provision.

Therefore, please join us for an hour or much longer. At the beginning of each hour there will be a short time of live worship, this will be followed by a range of different intercessions/prayer activities using silence, themed prayer portals, group intercessions and creative arts.

Here’s some brief information of what the structure of the day will look like:

On each hour there will be worship and Bible reading for about 10 minutes.

This will be followed by a time to:

• Individually visit the three-garden themed Prayer Portals each having various prayer activities to enhance our praying.
• Or you may just want to Rest and Receive in the Encounter Space as you listen to Father-God.
• Or join an intercession group led by Andrew in Light of the World at the front of The Well.
• Connected to the intercession group will be the 4th Prayer Portal. For each hour we hope to create a prayer record of what Father God is saying to us as we ask Him what The Well’s well-watered Garden looks like. During each hour we will have a large piece of paper for creative art through crayons, collage, drawing, words or prophetic pictures and Bible verses. Each hour collage will be displayed in the Encounter Space so by 6:00 PM there will be 11!
• At 45 minutes to each hour, we will gather together to share and pray.

You are most welcome to drop in anytime and to stay for as long or as little as you would like. At 6:00 PM we will have an extended time of worship and praise led by Michael and Andrew. We will look at the eleven collages of words and pictures and pray into them. I always find the last hour exhilarating and exciting. Then at 7:00 PM our prayer event will end but I believe we will be rejoicing in Father God’s steadfast love and Holy Spirit activity!

For those who can’t make this day in person, we will have an online zoom portal open at various times during the day. The times scheduled are as follows:

• 9.15am to 9.45am
• 1.15pm to 1.45pm
• 5.15pm to 5.45pm
