He has given us a short bio for your information. Please read below:

I have over 35 years’ experience of working with SME’s, local government, social enterprises, and the charity sector. I have been employed, run my own businesses, and worked as a consultant to several companies. I have also held executive and non-executive positions on boards. I have worked at different points of the life cycle of enterprises, from initial concept development to significant acquisitions and mergers. I have worked across different sectors including, housing, manufacturing, media, creative industries, and waste recycling. My work has usually been based on supporting either the organisation or the key individuals within the organisation to move them onto the next stage of development. The work has ranged from specific activity such as raising finance, transforming organisational culture, mentoring executives, and providing organisational governance. My work has been primarily in the UK, however more recently I have engaged in several international development projects.

My Key Skills

Strategic Thinking

I am skilled at working with different sizes and shapes of organisations from the public, voluntary and private sector to create policy frameworks and establishing effective models for business activity. This includes managing and facilitating change programmes and aligning strategy to performance. I enjoy using both creative thinking and a logical approach to solution development.

Leadership Skills

I am a motivational & inspirational leader, having a passion to transform organisations that want to make sustainable impacts in their activity. My leadership style is based on leading and inspiring teams of people to make a difference. I have a commitment to create a culture that encourages the development and releases the full potential in individuals.

Ambassadorial and Governance Skills

I have sat as non-executive director on a social housing board for 10 years. The board supported the organisation to grow an asset base of 33,000 homes worth over £1billion and produce an annual turnover of over £150m.The organisation employs 4500 staff. My main role on the board was to ensure that the organisations key values were established and integrated throughout the company.

I sat on a non-executive director on the board of the Citizens Advice Bureau Birmingham for 4 years. The organisation sees over 30,000 people annually at the point of crises in their lives. My main role on the board was to support the charity through organisational change and transition.
