Returns and refunds policy

If you need to return or ask for a refund for something you have purchased from us, this is our policy.

1. Introduction

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us or cancel an event booking that you have made.

We have created this returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

This returns policy applies to customers in England and Wales.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights (such as your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000).

2. Returns

We will replace or refund for defective items.

As per our terms of sale policy, we will not refund monies for products unless there is a defect/quality concern.

3. Returns procedure

In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must:

Email us to notify us that you are returning a product and the reason why you are returning it. Then return your order to us, in its original packaging, complete with a copy of your original order confirmation. We cannot accept responsibility for products that are not received by us so please ensure that you get a proof of postage certificate from the Post Office.

If we agree that the product is defective, we will send you a replacement product and refund the cost of the return postage that you have incurred. If you do not wish to receive a replacement, we will refund the cost of the product(s), the original postage cost and the cost of the return postage (where this is in line with the original postage charges).

If we do not agree that the product is defective, we will contact you.

4. Exclusions

If there is evidence that the returned product has been damaged or tampered with, The Well reserves the right not to issue a refund.

5. Refunds

For products

We will send you a refund for the full price of any defective product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy including the original delivery charges and including the costs of returning the product to us.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received your returned product.

For event bookings

For cancellations within 5 working days of the event, advised to us by email to enquiries@wellhealing.org, we will refund the fee paid, less £5 to cover administration costs.

No refund will be given for cancellations made with less than 5 working days before the event date.

6. Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):

(a) we will not refund or exchange the product;

(b) we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and

(c) if we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.
