A Journey of Loss and Healing – Reflections from the Book of Ruth
Thursday 17th February 2022

All of us have been deeply challenged since March 2020 with the onset of the pandemic.

Many of us have experienced loss and heartache as loved ones have died, jobs and income have disappeared, and our freedom restricted in different ways. These have left many of us in a place of bereavement and loss. The Book of Ruth in the Old Testament is story which starts with great heartache and loss and ends with joy and hope.

During this Quiet Morning Rev Anne Hibbert will look at these themes and explore how Father-God holds us during the dark times, provides for our needs and gives us hope for the future.

Anne will be particularly teaching on the bereavement journey and how we can navigate our way through it. Therefore, this Quiet morning will be a resource for those who are experiencing grief; as well as an opportunity for others who want time out from the busy-ness of life.

During this Quiet Morning there will be two talks given by Anne, an opportunity for personal prayer ministry and two reflection times supported by Biblical handouts, a loop of photo images and gentle inspirational music. All fabulous ingredients to make a very special time out with Father-God!

Members of the Well’s Prayer Team may be able to offer short 10-minute online prayer appointments. There will be no charge for this event, but if you would like to give The Well a donation then this would be great!

Comments from Guests who attended a Well Online Quiet morning:

“The times of reflection were brilliant. It’s great that there were the various ‘tools’ to help us – the relaxing pictures, music, the handouts with guided exercises, and the prayer teams – all of which were a great blessing. I really love the handouts.” AB

“Great teaching and space to be recharged!” JC

“This Quiet morning has spoken so much into my current situation which is one of uncertainty and change. I feel more assured that God is in charge and things will work out eventually.” PT
