Rest and Receive In Person

Rest and Receive gives us the opportunity to quieten ourselves, allow our bodies and minds to rest, and our souls to be refreshed by God. Described by one guest as a ‘spiritual massage’, it is deeply relaxing and comforting. 

Come to a Rest and Receive session if you are in a stressful situation, struggling with illness, or simply want to spend time in the presence of Father God. It is especially good for people who are feeling anxious, isolated or drained.

When you come through our front door, we will sign you in. You can share a confidential prayer request with us if you would like to.  We start the session with a short talk on God’s love for us and then you will be invited into our encounter space. You will be able to sit in comfortable chairs or sofas or lie down on mats as you prefer. As you rest, gentle music will play in the background while The Well’s trained prayer team pray silently for you. At the end of this time of resting and receiving from God, one of the Well’s team will pray a blessing prayer over the whole group.
