Soaring on Eagles Wings!
This Saturday Quiet Morning is just before September begins and is a great way to step into the new Autumn Term!
In the Bible there are a number of references to eagles. These birds are known for their strength and agility in flight and for their amazing eyesight. Probably one of the best-known verses is Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Using this passage as a springboard and many photos, Anne will give insights into the life of the eagle to see how we can unlock God’s power to soar in the Holy Spirit to great heights despite living in a society and world which is constantly changing around us. Anne will also explore how God can give us renewed strength, energy and stamina to navigate any challenges and obstacles this autumn.
During this event there will be two talks given by Anne, two reflection times supported by Biblical handouts, a loop of photo images and gentle inspirational music. All fabulous ingredients to make a very special time out with Jesus who wants us to soar on eagle’s wings!

The cost is £10 per person which includes hot drinks and home bakes.

Parking
There is a paid car park nearby at St Peter’s Multi-Storey car park. Bedford Street car park across the road is not suitable on this occasion, as it is only short-stay.
