Behold I Am Doing a New Thing!
A time to pause and reflect
As the season of Advent draws near, come and take time to pause, reflect, and prepare your heart to celebrate the birth of Jesus, The Word who became flesh and dwelt amongst us.
On this new Quiet Morning, we will draw inspiration from the beautiful and well-known carol, O Little Town of Bethlehem, exploring its Biblical themes and the hope it points to in Jesus.
“How silently, how silently, the wondrous gift is given…” As you join us, step away from the busyness of this Christmas season, to rest in Father-God’s presence, be renewed by His unlimited love, and experience afresh Jesus’ peace which passes all human understanding.
During this event there will be two talks given by Anne, an opportunity for personal prayer ministry and two reflection times supported by Biblical handouts, a loop of photo images and gentle inspirational music. All fabulous ingredients to make a very special time out with Jesus, The Prince of Peace.
Speaker: Rev Anne Hibbert, Founder and Director of Ministry of The Well
COST
The cost is £15 person and includes a Biblical handout to support the talk, resources to make two different star decorations, hot drinks and home bakes all wonderful ingredients to make a very special Quiet morning! If you are struggling at all in your finances for whatever reason, but would still like to come, please do let us know via: michael@wellhealing.org
Parking
There is a paid car park nearby at St Peter’s Multi-Storey car park. Bedford Street car park across the road is not suitable on this occasion, as it is only short-stay.
At a recent Quiet Morning we asked our Guests: What did you enjoy?
Anne’s teaching, Chris’s poems, the peace and quiet, coffee and cake.
The presence of God in this building and with everyone here. Such an absolute blessing.
The peace and quiet and time to pause and reflect as I have been flapping and panicking recently. It gave me time to rest and receive Anne’s words and has given me strength to rise above the storm and trust in God.
Space – just to be, time – to reflect and listen, insightful teaching that I can apply practically day to day.
