Passing The Baton Celebration

This November, we would love you to join us for a very special moment in the life of The Well.

Over the last two decades, Father God has done extraordinary things through The Well. Under Anne Hibbert’s inspirational leadership, thousands have experienced Jesus’s healing and love.

On Saturday 15 November, we will gather to celebrate 23 years of the Well’s amazing journey, and to mark the beginning of a new season as Anne retires and passes the Baton and Keys of Leadership to Ian and Ruth Dowsett.

This will be a significant day in The Well’s journey to look back with thanksgiving for all God has done since Anne answered God’s call to establish The Well, and to look forward with expectation for the new chapter that lies ahead.

Together we will pray for God’s empowering and anointing on Ian & Ruth as they are called to carry The Well’s vision forward and reach even more Guests in the next chapter.

What to expect

We want to welcome all who has been involved in The Well over the years, together with any who want to see what God is going to do in the next chapter!

2:00 – 3:30pm and afterwards:  Passing the Baton Celebration

• We’ll worship and remember God’s amazing provision and healing love and thank Anne for her faithful leadership.
• We will hear from Ian & Ruth and witness the handing over of the symbolic ‘Keys of leadership’ that Anne received as she accepted God’s call to found The Well.
• We will then pray for the next season of God’s healing love at The Well.

3:30 up to 5:00 pm: Informal gathering to share cake, sandwiches, and stories together.

We hope you can be with us for this important milestone in The Well’s story. Together, let’s celebrate Anne’s faithful leadership, welcome Ian & Ruth, and pray for all God has in store for the next chapter.

Free street parking is variously available near the church e.g. Binswood Avenue (8 mins),Trinity Street, Arlington Avenue. However, most of the closer roads have a 2-hour time limit.

Nearest Pay and Display car parks are:

• Chandos Street (CV32 4YU) – 7 min walk time
• Royal Priors, Park St (CV32 4NU) – 8 mins walk time
• Rosefield street (CV32 4HR) – 10 min walk time
• Covent Garden(CV32 5QB) – 11 min walk time
