The Well Christian Healing Centre

This Rest and Receive Session is postponed until the 25th Nov, please don’t drop in! The next Thursday session will be on Thursday 25th November at 7.15 pm.

Right from the start of The Well, Rest and Receive Prayer (formerly known as Soaking Prayer) has been integral to what we have offered within our prayer ministry. This is the first Rest and Receive to be held at our building, 20 Augusta Place, instead of Zoom since March 2020,

Who is it for?

Rest and Receive gives us the opportunity to quieten ourselves, allow our bodies and minds to rest, and our souls to be refreshed by God. It is especially beneficial for people who:

  • are struggling with illness;
  • are anxious or fearful;
  • are feeling isolated and alone;
  • are feeling weary and drained;
  • are bereaved;
  • want to spend some time in stillness with God.

You might want to think of Rest and Receive Prayer like this. Imagine the ground is hard and dry.  If there is a sudden rain shower the water runs off the ground. But if there’s a gentle rainfall over a long period of time the ground will slowly become moist and the water soaks in.

Where and when does it happen?

The Well’s Rest and Receive Prayer takes place at The Well Christian Healing Centre, 20 Augusta Place, Royal Leamington Spa, CV32 5EL. If you book in, please keep an eye on emails close to the time. If there are developments in what we are able to offer, we may need to transfer this into an online session at short notice!

This event will take place on the date shown above.

Each Rest and Receive Prayer session lasts for an hour.
