THEME AND REFLECTION TIME

2020 stretches out before us like snow that has fallen silently on the landscape and as yet is undisturbed by footprints.

We read in Deuteronomy 31:8 that God always goes before us. He knows everything about this coming year, with all its challenges and opportunities, the highs and lows, and how we will face them all. God’s heart of love yearns for us to journey well through 2020 with a deeper awareness of His presence and all His Holy Spirit resources, which are freely available to us.

How can we know, access and experience God’s joy and peace as we trust Him in this new year, whatever our circumstances? This Quiet Day will give you space to pause, reflect and encounter God as you explore 2020 in prayer, as well as opportunities to discern His heart of love afresh, so that you can overflow with hope by the power of His Holy Spirit!

Anne will give two talks in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each session will be followed by silent prayer and reflection times. Following the afternoon talk there will be an optional creative activity on the theme.

Throughout the day, members of The Well Christian Healing Centre will be available to offer short times of individual prayer.

WHO IS THIS DAY FOR?
  • Those who want space to refocus as 2020 begins
  • Those wanting to retreat for a few hours away from the busy-ness of life
  • Those who are feeling overwhelmed by the thought of 2020
  • Those who have never been on a quiet day before
  • Those who want to overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit in 2020!
