Zoom in for two new Online Well Quiet Mornings!
Thursday 11th February or Saturday 6th March 2021 at 10am-12.45pm
El Shaddai –
Our God is More Than Enough
El Shaddai is one of the beautiful Hebraic names of God and is the combination of two Hebrew words: ‘El’ meaning ‘God’ and ‘Shaddai’ meaning ‘Almighty’.
At these Quiet Mornings, Rev Anne Hibbert will be exploring this wonderful description of God being the All-Sufficient One: ‘the God who is more than enough’. He is the source and provider of all our needs and with Him all things are possible. This is especially relevant when the coronavirus pandemic has really challenged us about our values and priorities. Society puts the emphasis on material things as satisfying our needs, whereas the Bible is very clear that God is the only one who can truly satisfy us.
“Come to me all who are thirsty, come to the waters and you have no money, come buy and eat… listen, listen to me and eat what is good and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.”
Isaiah 55: 1, 2
During these mornings, Anne will unpack help us to reflect on God the All-Sufficient One, through Bible teaching, visuals, videos, music, silence and accompanying handouts. We will have time to pause, reflect and encounter God, as we set aside worldly priorities in order to listen to Him and delight in all the good things that He offers us.
Members of the Well’s Prayer Team will be offering short 10-minute online prayer appointments.
There will be no charge for this event, but if you would like to give The Well a donation then that would be great!
