Zoom in for two new Online Well Quiet Mornings!
Thursday 30th September 2021, 10 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. or
By Still Waters
Led by Rev. Anne Hibbert
As we emerge from Lockdown for many of us our lives are becoming incredibly busy again! This Quiet Morning is about giving ourselves space and time to “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
Walking beside a stretch of water on a bright, warm summer’s day is an immensely healing experience. The Psalmist encourages us to do this spiritually in Psalm 23 when he writes “…He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul.”
During this event Anne will unpack this theme by looking at a number of Bible passages which help us to experience inner stillness, as well as teaching on how we can be free of the anxiety and fear which so often rob us of peace. Anne will also use visuals of water to aid deeper contemplation and tranquillity.
Members of the Well’s Prayer Team will be offering short 10-minute online prayer appointments.
There will be no charge for this event, but if you would like to give The Well a donation then that would be great!
Comments from Guests who attended our Quiet mornings recently:
This Guest has been on lots of our previous Quiet days through the years, and wrote this after a Quiet Morning: “Zoom Quiet mornings are not a substitute or second best… they are successful and special!”
“Thank you so much for a very enlightening and uplifting morning. We are feeling very blessed.”
“Loved the teaching and time out with the Lord today. Thank-you very much, hoping to join with you on another occasion.”
“Thank you for the Holy Spirit led prayers. I forgot to mention some things to the prayer team but they prayed for those things anyway! So thank you for their sensitiveness to the Spirit.”
