Being Moulded and Mended by God the Master Potter

Thursday 20th May 2021, 10 a.m. to 12.45 p.m.

In the Bible the Potter and the clay illustration is a very powerful one and incredibly visual. God clearly wants His people to know that He has a plan and purpose for each of our lives. And if we go out of  ‘shape’ whilst on the Potter’s wheel He has the right to reshape, remould and  transform us into His perfect and unique design.

During these Quiet Mornings, Anne will be exploring this powerful and life changing analogy as we emerge out of lockdown. What does it mean to be clay in the Potter’s hand? How does God want to mould and mend us, so that we can develop into our fullest potential?

There will be two talks each morning, during which Anne will be teaching from various passages in the Bible which pick up the clay theme and how Father-God has a unique design for each of us and how He longs for us to trust Him with every turn of His ‘potter’s wheel!’

Anne will help us to reflect on God the Master Potter through Bible teaching, visuals, videos, music, silence and accompanying handouts. We will have time to pause, reflect and encounter God, as we set aside worldly priorities in order to listen to Him and delight in all the good things that He offers us.

Members of the Well’s Prayer Team will be offering short 10-minute online prayer appointments.

There will be no charge for this event, but if you would like to give The Well a donation then that would be great!

Comments from Guests who attended our Quiet mornings recently.

This Guest has been on lots of our previous Quiet days through the years, and wrote this after our Garden morning: “Zoom Quiet mornings are not a substitute or second best… they are successful and special!”

“Thank you so much for a very enlightening and uplifting morning. We are feeling very blessed.”

“Thank you Anne for blessing us this morning and encouraging me to rest in the shadow of the Almighty”

“A blessed pit stop!”
