Come and join us via Zoom for another Well Quiet Morning online!
An opportunity to draw breath, to study God’s Word and reflect upon “God’s Secret Agents!”
As Christmas approaches angels will be soon seen on Christmas cards, decorations and cakes. During this Quiet Morning Anne Hibbert will be looking at The Bible which is full of references to angels, in fact 273 times to be precise! Angels herald the birth of Jesus, they minister to Him in the wilderness and they are there at His resurrection. They are generally invisible but sometimes the spiritual world opens up and we have a glimpse of them like Elijah’s servants did in Kings 6:17!
Many of the Psalms make reference to angels and how they help and protect God’s people. ‘The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and He delivers them.’ (Psalm 34: 7)
Sometimes angels appear in human form to bring help and protection. The Hebrew writer urges his readers, ‘Don’t forget to entertain strangers, because in this manner some have entertained angels without knowing it.’ (Heb 13:2)
Billy Graham in his book Angels: God’s Secret Agents says, “I am convinced that these heavenly beings exist, and that they provide unseen aid on our behalf… I believe in angels because the Bible says there are angels and I believe the Bible to be the Word of God!”
Anne has spoken at previous Well Quiet Days on Angels and although her material will be similar, there will be a contemporary focus as we contemplate celebrating Christmas in a completely different way this year due to the pandemic.

Comments from Guests who attended our Quiet mornings recently:
- “The times of reflection were brilliant. It’s great that there were the various ‘tools’ to help us – the relaxing pictures, music, the handouts with guided exercises, and the prayer teams – all of which were a great blessing. I really love the handouts.” AB
- “How peaceful. A re-set button!” AC
- “A blessed pit stop!” B
- This Guest has been on lots of our previous Quiet days through the years, she wrote this after our Garden morning, “Zoom Quiet mornings are not a substitute or second best… they are successful and special!”
