Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things.
Jeremiah 33:3

The Bible says that God spoke to His prophet Jeremiah when he was isolated and imprisoned. Therefore it seems particularly appropriate at this time of lockdown and social distancing to recall what some people refer to as ‘God’s phone number’ – Jeremiah 33:3!

We have all been so delighted to discover how FatherGod can work even on Zoom! When we first offered these online prayer appointments, we particularly had in mind people who had been affected by COVID-19, whether through illness or bereavement, lack of work or income, or as Key Workers. Anyone facing such issues is of course still very welcome to book a ‘333’ appointment. The Well’s ‘333’ Prayer Teams are also here to offer support, based on our long experience in prayer ministry, to Guests who are:

  • needing physical healing;
  • anxious and fearful;
  • feeling weary or exhausted;
  • waiting for or undergoing medical treatment;
  • having difficulties conceiving.

Where and when does it happen?

The Well’s 333 Prayer Ministry takes place via Zoom.

There are 3 weekly sessions of 333 Prayer, taking place on:

  • Tuesday afternoons from 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday evenings from 7.30 p.m.
  • Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m.

Each 333 Prayer appointment will last for thirty minutes.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book by emailing or you can call the Office on 01926 888003. You can see the upcoming sessions at the bottom of the page.

Online Rest and Receive Prayer

Right from the start of The Well, Rest and Receive (formerly known as Soaking Prayer) has been integral to our ministry, running alongside our Healing Prayer appointments but rather different from them. Currently, in response to social distancing measures, Rest and Receive takes place online.

Where and when does it happen?

The Well’s Online Rest and Receive Prayer takes place via Zoom.

It happens happens three weeks a month, at 2 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon or at 7.15 p.m. on a Thursday evening.

Each Rest and Receive Prayer session lasts for an hour.

Who is it for?

Rest and Receive is suited to anyone who wants to spend some time in stillness with God, and is especially beneficial for those struggling with illness and those who are in stressful situations.

Some Guests come to receive more of Father-God’s love and care after a healing prayer appointment earlier in the week. For others, Rest and Receive might be their first experience of The Well’s ministry. Our regular Rest and Receive Guests just love the opportunity to rest awhile in Father-God’s presence.

We no longer do what used to be called ‘Soaking Prayer’ specifically for pregnant women, but we do encourage women who are pregnant to attend Rest and Receive. We believe that the time babies spend in their mother’s womb is really important physically, emotionally and spiritually, and we would love to invite you to rest in God’s presence during this time.

What happens at Rest and Receive Online?

Rest and Receive gives us the opportunity to quieten ourselves, allow our bodies and minds to rest, and our souls to be refreshed by God. Described by one Guest as a ‘spiritual massage’, it is deeply relaxing and comforting.

Unlike Healing Prayer, where Guests are seen individually, these sessions accommodate a number of Guests per session.

When you first join the Zoom meeting, you will enter The Well’s Reception room, where you will hear soft music and see a series of encouraging Bible verses. You can choose whether or not to turn on your camera. The Receptionist will ensure that everyone is muted.

Promptly at 2 p.m. or 7.15 p.m. one of the Prayer Team will welcome you. After a short talk and prayer, the Receptionist will turn off everyone’s cameras and you will be invited to make yourself comfortable. Gentle music will play for about 45 minutes, while Bible verses are displayed on the screen and The Well’s trained prayer ministry team pray silently for you, asking the Holy Spirit to gently touch those places which hurt inside.

At the end of this time of resting and receiving from God, one of The Well’s team will pray a blessing prayer over the whole group, after which music and slides will again be played, as you prepare to leave Zoom when you feel ready.

Afterwards, if you feel that you’d like individual healing prayer ministry, then please do book an appointment at one of our regular weekly sessions
