Dear friends of The Well
Call to prayer
In our last Trustees meeting of the year we were looking back at 2018 and forward to 2023. I was struck (once again) by how important it is that we focus on prayer – for God’s will to be done with The Well.
We invite you all to join us in praying for the future, as well as in giving thanks for where God has brought us to.
We’re delighted that we are in our new building and that 20 Augusta Place has such a positive impact on all who serve and visit here.
But of course there’s still more to be done! We have only just received the final bill … and we now know that we still need to find over £10,000 – and that we’ll need some £20-30,000 more next year.
We have a big vision – to see God at work, bringing more people for prayer and for training. We know we will need more staff, especially to support Anne, and also to cover the operational side.
So please pray for God to show us the priorities to pursue and how he wants to provide the resources we need. As Anne often reminds us:
unless the Lord builds the house we labour in vain! (Ps.127).
We want to thank Anne and her ministry teams for the wonderful service they have given to God this year.
And we also want to thank Mark and Jim and their teams for their much appreciated labours.
On behalf of all the trustees I want to close by thanking all of you for the support you give to The Well – and asking you to keep praying! The most important thing you can do for The Well is to pray – and then pray more 🙂
