In these challenging times, people need the ministry of The Well more than ever, just as we need your support even more right now.
We urgently need significant additional income to continue the delivery of The Well's life-changing ministry. The effects of the pandemic have hit us financially; even after reducing costs, our expenses are still greater than our income. The huge increases in energy bills and mortgage costs mean we risk running out of money without your immediate financial support.
Can you help us by increasing your giving or joining our community of valued donors?
We are so grateful for your prayers, time and financial giving which has enabled our ministry to continue and impact the lives of so many. With your help we can ensure that The Well can continue to offer people prayerful support during their moments of greatest need – please can you help?
We thank God for His wonderful provision and for the many people who have been healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through His provision we took faith steps to borrow money to establish our own Healing Centre, building upon the ministry of the last 20 years, and continuing now through this time of national crisis.
We have exciting plans for the future and a vision to open The Well up to 6 days a week. We want to fulfil our mission to “unstop the ancient wells of healing in Leamington Spa” and believe that in pressing onwards we will continue to see “God work in power and see miracles!”. Without your essential support now we will not be able to meet everyday costs, let alone expand our ministry to serve the increasing needs of people both far and wide. With additional funds we can recruit and train more prayer team members, increase our paid ministry team and provide low-cost ministry admin.
We appreciate that your finances may also be stretched at this time, but we prayerfully ask that you join us and step out in faith with gifts of money, time and prayer.
How much do we need?
In late November we launched a crowdfunding campaign called “12:72:500” to inspire supporters of The Well to help us reach our fundraising targets. Great progress has been made (see counters on each page) and we are so grateful to all the amazing support that has come in so far. However, there is still some more to go in the three key areas below. Can you help up us by giving, or sharing this appeal with your contacts?
The campaign is based on the 12 disciples and then the 72 who were sent out by Jesus, and the 500 recorded as witnessing Jesus’ resurrection. Our 3 ‘asks’ are based around these numbers, but donations are not limited to this alone, we are very grateful for any gifts or pledges you can provide.
1. Urgently support daily operational costs to enable our vital prayer ministry to continue.
Could you be one of 500 people to gift an additional £10.00 or more per month?
2. Support and grow the ministry team, invest in our volunteers, and provide efficient support.
Could you be one of 72 people to give a one-off gift of £1000 or more to secure our current provision and grow the ministry towards being open 6 days each week?
3. Support our building needs and help secure a commercial debt-free future.
Could you, or with a team, contribute one of 12 gifts or long-term loans of £20,000 to remove our mortgage debt, thereby releasing significant funds into daily ministry?
How can you give?
A regular Direct Debit is money we can budget with. A one-off bank transfer is an efficient way of giving as your donation will reach The Well without incurring fees. If you are a UK taxpayer signed up to Gift Aid, your donation increases by 25% at no extra cost to you (Note: You must have paid the gift aid amount in that tax year, or you will be liable for the additional amount the government gives to us as a charity).
