The God of Hope

‘May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.'

This verse – Romans 15: 13 – has been very important to us in what has been a very busy week.

We have prayed for Guests in some very difficult and sad places this week and have been able to come alongside them and say that although their situation looks bleak, God is outside time and much bigger than their situation, so if they can keep trusting in Him, He is the one who can allow them to flow with joy and peace!

Hope is really important in difficult times and it has been a real joy and privilege to lift people’s sights.

I’ve mentioned before about the three wonderful testimonies that were given when I led Streams in the Desert last week. If you weren’t able to be there you can now listen to them as part of my talk, as it is now available here on the website.

If you go to the news section you should see the link to play or download the talk – I found the testimonies so inspiring and I hope you will too!

As well as being a busy week, it has also been a special week in a number of ways as Monday marked ten years since God gave me the vision for The Well and just as I reflected in our most recent newsletter, it has been a remarkable journey since then!

I have also taken time out to prepare my Jephson Gardens walk ready for our next Quiet Days on, 'Our God who Heals'.

They are on the 12th and 14th of July – and as July starts on Sunday it has been good to get that part of the preparations done and see how those wonderful gardens are looking with all this variable weather!

There are still places left on both days at the moment - so do let the team know in the office if you’d like to come along and there are more details in the same news section as the Streams talk!

The newsletter of The Well

We produce a quarterly newsletter. We send copies by post for those who want them.
However, many of our supporters prefer to download their own copy from the site.
