Reflections

28

Last week whilst in Scotland I had lots of time to reflect. My friends live in a beautiful fishing community called Tarbert (in Argyll).  Their windows overlook Loch Fyne and in the distance you can see the Isle of Arran.

Even within the greyness, rain and howling winds, God's creation still looked incredibly beautiful.  I have a favourite seat on one of the nearby hills.  As I looked at the vastness of the water before me and the sky above me I reflected once again on the greatness of God.  He sees all and knows all.  I felt small in comparison to the creation around me yet God knows me and loves me.  He knows every detail of my life.  How incredible is this?

I thought about our recent 10th Anniversary Team Party.  What a wonderful celebration of God's presence, promise, power and provision as we have journeyed with God while He developed The Well.  I feel so privileged to the the Director!  I thanked God for all those who have caught the vision and are partnering with us.  And we still have some more 10th Anniversay celebrations.  I do hope you can join us on Thursday evening 1st May when Ruth Fazal will be helping us to celebrate.  It will be an evening of thanksgiving and testimonies of God's healing power.  Please put this date in your diary.

Tomorrow is our Pathway Day: Pathway Through When Relationships Hurt.  I know that it will be an informative and resourceful day which will bring healing to many.  I am looking forward to what God is going to do again in people's lives.
