Let's work together!

‘MY visits to the Well have had a profound effect on me and God has healed me.’

Wow! It was great to hear those words from somebody I met this week but it was interesting that she then went on to say how she really wanted to share her story with other people as an encouragement but hadn’t got round to doing it.

I was delighted to be able to say that Richard, who steps in to write my blog when I’m not around, is a journalist who loves speaking to people and could ring up and do the story.

This is something we’ve offered to other people in the past and it has worked so well, so if you have got a story to tell but are not sure about writing it then do call the office and ask for Richard. And do look out for our latest stories of God’s healing in the next issue of our Source magazine… coming soon!

Yesterday saw the second of our prophetic art workshops and just as last week, the place was buzzing when I popped in and people were just so excited that God had used them to speak encouragement in other people’s lives.

Afterwards I went for lunch with Gill, our amazing artist who ran the course and she was delighted with how it went and will definitely be doing some more art workshops next year! That is great news and especially for some people we know wanted to go this time but were unable to make it!

Yesterday evening we then had one of our twice-yearly team events when all the people who are involved with running The Well and its activities get the chance to be together at the same time and the same place!

For me, I just love gathering with The Well team and we meet from across the different sessions we attend.

It’s always fun and yesterday we spent some time discerning the way forward and it was just so good to do it as a group.

We’ve had ten years since I was given the vision for The Well so it was good to do this as we enter the next phase of our journey.

What a journey it has already been and what a journey it will be!

We shared a number of verses as part of our time together and I will close today with one of those readings, Proverbs 3: 5-6, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight’.
