Happy anniversary!

WE had a very inspiring time yesterday as we interviewed some people who have applied to join our prayer team.

It’s always interesting hearing people’s God stories, hearing how much they enjoyed the course and also about what they have learned.

For the first time ever, one of our candidates also turned up with his folder and notes from the course to share what he had taken away from it. Wow!

There was further encouragement at the start of the week when Songs of Praise did a special programme on fatherhood with Mark Stibbe at the heart of it.

We are so excited that he’s agreed to speak at our Listening to God conference and it was a great promotion to see him speaking about his life and his work on Songs of Praise!

If you missed it you can catch it on the BBC’s iPlayer at the moment and if that inspires you to come to hear him in September, do look elsewhere on the website for a booking form!

It was Streams in the Desert on Monday evening and we had a lovely time of worship and heard three powerful testimonies.

As they were shared you could clearly see how it was building faith in the room and it was just so exciting to think each woman in the room could go back to their communities and share how they’d heard such amazing stories!

These real examples meant the evening was not just me teaching about healing and wholeness but also a chance to hear what God has done – and with God there is always more to come!

I can’t end without mentioning that Monday is a special day – the tenth anniversary of when God gave me the vision for The Well.

It is wonderful to look back at what God has done to develop The Well and the people he’s grafted into The Well so far and for the future - and with God there is always more to come!

1 Thessalonians 5: 24 says: ‘The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.’

That has been – and continues to be – my experience!
