Busy teams and countdown to Streams

13

IT’S been a busy post-Easter week at The Well and this is another of those occasional Fridays when it’s Richard bringing you an update rather than Anne.

The office was closed for the four days of the extended weekend but then everything returned as normal on Tuesday with our regular prayer ministry sessions at The Pump Rooms.

All three sessions were very, very full and this then continued with Wednesday afternoon’s soaking prayer. This was one of our busiest ever and there has been some incredible feedback from it.

The pace hasn’t slackened since as we now get ready for the second Streams in the Desert evening of 2012, which takes place this coming Monday, April 16, at Leamington Baptist Church.

These special events for women attract top speakers from around the country and this time Hils Grew will be talking on Women living in the favour of God.

The evening starts, as ever, with refreshments at 7.15pm and finishes at 9.30pm – and if you qualify to be at Streams and haven’t been before, then do give it a go!

Alongside the preparations for that our eyes are also on our next Quiet Days on Thursday, April 26 and Saturday, April 28, on the theme of Our God of All Comfort.

Anne will be looking at Isaiah 61 and other passages which speak of Jesus’ ability to come alongside us when life is tough, when we are facing all kinds of loss situations eg loss of health, job, security and loved ones.

Bookings are coming in and if you want to find out more and get your name on the list, details are here on the website or do call the office.

Right, time to tackle the email inbox and next week things will be back to normal as Anne brings you all the latest news!
