A very special invitation

IN last week’s piece we reflected on the first of our Quiet Days and what a special time it had been.

At that point we were looking ahead to the day after when we had another Quiet Day, though on a different topic.

Different topic it may have been but once again God did some amazing things!

This was the day postponed in January when the snow came - and today, remarkably, we are once again keeping an eye on the forecast as we seem set for some more heavy weather, just as we should be celebrating all things spring!

This is Richard writing this blog and in the office today we are looking at some of our future events and in particular our Listening to God conference in October – let’s just hope we see some summer weather between now and then!

The exciting news is that our speaker will be Kenny Borthwick, always a favourite at our Listening to God events and you may remember him from our Father’s Heart day last September which proved such a remarkable time.

As well as the hope of some sunny days before Kenny's autumn visit, we also have a wide range of Well events in the intervening months.

Many of these are run by The Well but there are others we put under The Travelling Well banner where Anne and, as appropriate, a team, are invited to speak at or lead an event.

Coming very soon is a very special occasion when Anne has been invited to give the annual Arthur Dodds Lecture at Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing near Cirencester.

The late Canon Arthur Dodds had the vision which led to the setting up of the centre, based in a 16th century manor house.

Anne is delighted to have been invited to give the lecture and will speak on, ‘Jesus the Healer of Broken Hearts’ at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 13 at Harnhill.

Tickets are free and are available from the Harnhill office on 01285 850283.

There are many other events coming along, some of which are featured in the latest issue of our newsletter which will be winging its way out in the next few days and is also available on the website now!

We produce a quarterly newsletter. We send copies by post for those who want them.
However, many of our supporters prefer to download their own copy from the site.
